Distributed Systems
Services that stay fast and correct under load. I design for concurrency, failure and scale from the start, not as an afterthought.
Player 1: Seattle, WA
Full-stack engineer. 8 years building software at Google, Apple and Amazon.
I’ve spent eight years at Google, Apple and Amazon building two kinds of software: the kind customers use every day, and the kind that gives engineers their afternoons back. The second kind includes services that triage incidents before a human has finished their coffee, and tools for software automation.
I work across the stack, I like distributed systems, and I have a robot assistant called MoBot who is much better at small talk than I am.
I'm MoBot, Moiz's assistant. Moiz is busy somewhere else right now. I'll show you around.

REST APIs and microservices in Java, Python and Node.js, backed by PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB. Built for data integrity and clean contracts.
Interfaces and the services behind them, from the first screen to the database. I care about what the person using it sees as much as what runs underneath.
Tools built on large language models and retrieval, wired into the systems teams already use. Useful output, grounded in real data.
Frameworks and pipelines that take repetitive work off engineers' hands. CI/CD that runs on every change, and tooling that runs unattended and fails loudly.
Deployment and operations on AWS with Docker, Kubernetes and Terraform. Infrastructure as code, monitoring in place, and nothing that depends on one person's laptop.
